Artist in Residence Day

Clare Shaughnessy was the latest artist to be Enigma Gallery One's Artist in Residence for the day in June 2008.

As part of the launch of her exhibition of wildlife paintings, Clare set up her easel in the main gallery and worked on her new painting of a tiger.

Visitors to the gallery were treated to watching Clare as she worked and were able to chat to her about her paintings and her life long interest in wildlife.


Enigma Gallery One's Artist in Residence Days take place on the first Saturday of exhibitions in the Gallery. Admission is free and all are welcome. Refreshments are available from Café Enigma which is situated in the Upper Gallery.
